Do you have an idea about how to make Omaha a greener community? Attend an educational happy hour with Environment Omaha and other young professionals on Wednesday, Aug. 4, 5:30 p.m. at Slowdown (729 N. 14th St.). Must be 21 to attend.

Environment Omaha is a partnership of the city of Omaha, the community, Omaha by Design and Community ReDesigned. Join the Young Professionals at this unique event. It is free to attend, give input and hear from others.

Can't make it on the Aug. 4? No problem, the Greater Omaha Chamber is hosting an Environment Omaha educational event on Wednesday, Aug. 11, at 3:30 p.m. at the Chamber's downtown office, 1301 Harney St. Space is limited. Contact Tim Stuart to register.
